Amend or vary a consent
If you want to change your consented building work, before or during construction, and your council requires you to complete a formal amendment for major variations, you create a building consent amendment application. If approved, any amended application becomes part of the approved building consent documents file for that building project.

To amend a consent
You can apply for amendment only after a building consent is issued.

Open the consent.

Select Actions | Apply for amendment.

Complete the application for amendment.
